Like the film "Groundhog Day", in which the main character is condemned to relive the same day over and over again, we can feel as if we are constantly confronted with the same failures and disappointments in certain areas of our lives.
"I always choose the wrong men in my life".
"I never manage to keep a job for more than 1 year".
"I've done a lot of training, I've studied my project carefully, and yet my business isn't taking off".
Those little voices in your head
Our mind works all day long, sending us a constant stream of thoughts (over 60,000 a day). This internal dialogue is part of conscious and unconscious thought patterns, some of which are deeply rooted within us and operate repetitively and automatically, despite ourselves.
This is why, despite :
- our good will
- our motivation
- our investment of time or money
- our perseverance
Our projects don't see the light of day, our business doesn't take off, we're always in the same kind of relationship.
It's a recurring theme!
This conditioning has been with us since childhood, often unknowingly influencing our values, beliefs and behaviors, both personally and professionally.
While they can be real driving forces for us, they are also heavily involved in our stress levels, which often lead to miscommunication with others.
So, becoming aware of these drivers, which sometimes drive us in the wrong direction, will enable us to flush them out in real life and turn them into a strength instead.

The results of this test are based on Berne's Transactional Analysis, commonly used in skills assessment and life coaching. This is a real psychological test that I like to use with my coachees, as it can unblock many situations and is an excellent basis for starting coaching work.
